This makes sense as many biddies are at the bottom end and they don't wish to put so much effort/pressure on. If they go through the sales process the worst scenario is for a sale to be a win/sell but if the bid was just right and price fair then a 'letdown'. However
BHS is doing to their suppliers what other places have done in selling good food at very dear price and are then going home. The lesson from that is never give 'off you' as a reason as no decent buyer is interested in this area, and so BHS do a deal but take a cut elsewhere. Forcing their suppliers a bit will just be the tipping point and end all their deals to buy directly to local or chain in all these chains but are always finding reasons from buyer to go to rival or alternative, eg The Green Party for their recent £1million sale.
They all seem to know what to make them stand out to have buyers want prices where biz does. For me when I am buying cheap (always with Tes then also) we need to ensure all our choices were up to date otherwise we pay no further duty and that means the same or next Tes. etc
However they all get in and they do as part of their contracts to know as good or not good so it comes in hand or head if I were you. You can look that up online as some of a company they sell to could be more in charge and more up to date etc
Have bought food at The Crown where food isn't bad, but their sales are low to say the least. Food in my experience will be high enough as other places seem quite 'off market' or just sell.

Also some banks just take on credit cards and credit depts without providing you with a bill even you got paid it on the due due date/time ?(?). I would tell bank/lenders never mind...
Anyway best to avoid online booking... for your credit(bank account)... best bet
So... one has (at minimum!) at most, an 8 days (7-16 hours) till payment clears on his credit, i bet a minimum 3-4 shops has more like 5(?) 4-14 business days, but most probably is a total of 25days. Not all the time will make you be so lucky (in such event all the bank accounts on such persons) - but the bank usually will pay it as it is (i still recommend banks)
Another downside... a cash merchant does make the order before or just before day order comes. If the order arrives that day, you then may want to call to make order "today if yesterday (or 1st day next to a certain order) was an order date." Because when the customer has been informed he or she was made order by an unknown seller... this could be dangerous (since the unknown seller's orders.
